Here is what I learned as a client of Shopster:

Their "wholesale prices" are jacked up by 3.9%.

They subtract 3.5% from ALL of your profits.

They adjust shipping prices even though they don't own nor actually ship anything.

Their inventory numbers were very erratic, what had hundreds in stock one day was "Discontinued" the next, what cost me $300 one day is costing me $315 the next.

Suppliers can disappear literally overnight, so if you've spent many hours and dollars setting up and marketing your store using a supplier's line and they pull out of Shopster, you wake up to a store with no inventory and nothing but lost hours and lost dollars to show for it.

Most of Shospter's items have a wholesale price that is higher than most stores' retail price! For example, a coffee pot Shopster charges you $40 for costs only $22 at other sites.

If Shopster had an honestly written Agreement and used honest advertising I never would have signed up. Did I make money using Shopster, yes, but it took a complaint to the BBB just to get all of it.

I dont know about shopster but you should try http://www.getsellingtoday.com
Its like an electronic warehouse that lets you build an online store, like Shopster. I find it better though. They make a profit of what you sell, you make money and they handle all the shipping and all that stuff. Its a win-win.

I have been using it for about 6 months now and it's pretty cool. It's real easy to use too. There is a lot of great deals and a good chance to make some money. There's even a free trial for newbies or skeptics. Its an unlimited trial but you can only sell up to 15 products. Good way to start off and get a feel for the website. Its worth taking a look anyways.
